An unveiling of Havel´s Place at St. Patrick's Park, Dublin. Invited participants: the city's Lord Mayor Oisín Quinn and former Czech foreign minister and co-founder of Václav Havel Library Karel Schwarzenberg.
Václav Havel’s Place is dominated by a piece by Bořek Šípek – consisting of a pair of seats between which a tree is growing – that symbolises, according to the artist, the openness to dialogue that was one of Václav Havel’s characteristic features.
