Karel Janeček´s original intention was to create an electoral system that would enable the selection of higher quality leaders. In time it became clear, however, that D21 can be applied universally, bearing fruit in municipalities, companies, schools and all kinds of communities. The key benefit of D21 is that it makes group decision-making more effective and delivers consensual results. It provides people with more votes and means greater numbers are satisfied with outcomes. D21 has sparked interest in the Czech Republic and internationally.
